If you are pregnant - let someone else renovate or use water based and low emitting products and protective gloves and mask, if required, when doing the work
Remeber to ventilate during and after renovation
Choose water based paints, preferably with an ecolabel
Avoid vinyl flooring and vinyl wallpaper
Choose floor coverings such as; wood or cork preferably with an ecolabel, rugs which can easily be removed and washed or cleaned, or ceramic and natural stone tiles.
