A good atmosphere
A bad atmosphere does not necessarily mean that people are arguing. Indoor air can contain a cocktail of quite different things. Healthy air quality should be the aim for every room as we spend most of our time indoors. This is particularly the case for children and most especially very young children. Due to their small body weight and fast metabolism they are more susceptible to harmful substances than adults. Good indoor air quality is, therefore, particularly important for them.
Good indoor air quality is difficult to detect as you cannot see it. Bad smells alone are not the only indicator of poor air quality. Interior rooms collect not only exhaled carbon dioxide and moisture from people and objects, but also numerous toxic chemicals and biological pathogens. These can enter the body via nose, mouth, skin, mucous membranes and eyes resulting in headaches, allergies, infections or other illnesses. Electro-magnetic radiation also pollutes the indoor air quality and therefore the human body. But this problem need not be discussed in any length here. Although it should be reduced as far as possible, which is not all that difficult.
