Furniture checklist
Consider the following criteria when selecting furniture:
- Sturdy, functional, tough
- Firm position, rounded off corners
- Non-toxic and no or very little odour!
- For starters you will need a cot, baby changing table, possibly a cupboard
- Practical: furniture, which can be used in different ways, e.g. a baby bed turns into a desk later
- Saliva resistant, non-toxic paints and varnish
- The best is solid wood instead of plastic and chipboard
