Checklist for critical substances
Avoid the following ingredients:
- Preservatives, e.g.
- Parabens or
- Triclosan (including microban or 5-chloro-2 (2,4-dichlorophenoxy)-phenol)
- Scents (including perfumes, fragrances or flavourings)
- Phthalate (softeners; including DBP, DEHP, DEP or BBP)
- AHA (alpha-hydroxyl-acids; including fruit, glycol and lactic acids)
- Toluene (including toluol, methylbenzene, butyl hydroxyl toluene)
- BHT
- P(ara)-Phenylenediamine (PPD)
- Sodium lauryl sulphate or sodium laureth sulphate
- Propylene glycol (including propan-1,2-diol)
