Avoid tobacco smoke
What you can do to protect your child from tobacco smoke:
- Prevent your child from being in a smoky room.
- Smoke outdoors.
- Do not smoke in the car, when your child is with you.
- Do not leave cigarettes or other tobacco items lying around within reach of children. The same applies to ashtrays.
- If you want to quit smoking, talk to your doctor. Use a nicotine plaster or chewing gum.
